My birthday and the Big Bang Theory :) A Reveal!

Wooohooo! I am so overwhelmed with all your messages, greetings, and well wishes!! And wheee! Today, I turn a year older :) *no, I am surprisingly not depressed about it anymore hahahaha*. I am one happy camper!! It has been an amazing year, topped by the most amazing event I have ever attended :) *Thank you so much to the most amazing people at Luisa Via Roma, Bryan Boy, Wendy, Jane, William, Denni, Chiara, Andy, and to all the other wonderful bloggers I met at Firenze4Ever :) :)* And of course, to all my readers, I am really so humbled, so touched, and sooooo grateful that you peeps remembered and took the time to greet me. :)

Now, all that aside, let me share with you a little something called the Big Bang Theory. *hehe* What's the relationship between my birthday and the big bang theory? Well, at this stage in my life (I declare I am no longer a Spring Chicken hahaha), I need to celebrate my birthday *especially this year-- because I'm officially entering the "middle ages" hahahaha* with a Big Bang. Hence the Big Bang theory :D So are you peeps ready for the shock-stun-awe moment? *Ok I'll go with shock and stun. I don't know though, if you'll all be in awe after the reveal hahaha* Ok. Here goes:

I adopted someone in Florence. *BIG BANG!!!!*

Her name, thanks to Wendy *for coming up with her name*, is Ling Ling :) 

Peeps, I'd like you to meet the newest member of my bag family (and she has a face!!)

Chanel China Doll Bag from the Paris- Shanghai Collection. She's beautifully made of enamel and plexi (according to Bagsnob :D)

And here are her godparents *hahaha*-- the peeps who held her and loved her just as I do :)

Bryanboy who had to cradle her, and was first to hold her out of the box

Tommy Ton of Jak and Jil Blog who couldn't resist kissing her :)

Wendy Lam of Nitrolicious who couldn't stop playing with Ling Ling's hair (and she is the primary godmum- she named her Ling Ling!)

William MG who was still a little shy around Ling Ling :)

Jane Aldridge of Sea of Shoes who held her ever so carefully.

Denni a.k.a. Chic Muse who was photographed cheek- to- cheek with her

Ling Ling's a lucky lady, and I'm just happy that I was able to adopt her as a souvenir from Florence.  *Getting my credit card bill will be a different story... Happy is not going to be one of the emotions I will have when I receive the bill hahahha*

Granted, she is a rather expensive souvenir, but then oye, it's my _th Birthday and I needed my "Big Bang" :) This year is especially "special". I'm now living in my "middle ages" hahahaha.

Anyway, thanks so much for all your birthday greetings, peeps! Been getting the messages from my phone + twitter + your comments and genuinely enjoying reading each one :) Now let me enjoy my day *or night* for a bit! More stories tomorrow!!
